The New Canaan High School football staff is proud to share with you our Annual Ram Football Camp! Head Coach Lou Marinelli and his staff are excited to share the NC football brand of up tempo offense and swarming defense. This is an opportunity for your child to get coached by the varsity coaches and players while enjoying a challenging and positive camp experience. They will receive instruction in every position on the field, and participate in games to further develop their skills as a player. 

The 2026 NC Ram Football Camp will be a fun filled environment for all to enjoy – we hope to see your children there! 

 

Dates: June 22-24th

Times: Rising 3rd-5th Grade 8:30-10:00AM

     Rising 6th-8th Grade 10:00-11:30AM

Location: Water Tower Turf Field 1

Cost: $250

No equipment is needed for this camp. Wear cleats and bring a well labeled water bottle.

New Canaan Youth Football in conjunction with High School Coaching staff, Chris Silvestri and Jimmy Nguyen, are pleased to offer the NC Football Systems and Fundamental clinics this spring.

These one hour youth clinics will be run and taught by the High School coaching staff, and will provide individual, fundamental instruction to each participant, while installing New Canaan High School’s offensive and defensive systems.

Each participant will be taught various positions, individual skills, plays, and understand language providing a base for both 7on7 and 11 man tackle football.

The plays and skills learned will be on display at the annual 7on7 tournament which will take place in June versus other teams in the FCFL.

Cost: $250 per player. Includes the six-session clinic with occasional scrimmages, participation in FCFL tournament, and use of a soft-shell helmet (no football equipment is necessary, but please bring, cleats, mouthguard and water bottle).

Register here if you have a player in New Canaan who will be in 3rd grade for the fall of 2026 that would like to play Modified Tackle Football (MTF). Modified Flag Football is also known as Modified Tackle Football (MTF).

MTF is a 9-player (vs. 11 player), no-tackle version of football played on a smaller field. Players wear full equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, and football pants) but use flag belts—tackles are made by pulling flags, not by physical contact/NO TACKLING.
