2026 NCYF Summer Ram Camp June 22-24th

New Canaan Youth Football Ram Camp for Rising 3rd-8th Grades

The New Canaan High School football staff is proud to share with you our Annual Ram Football Camp! Head Coach Lou Marinelli and his staff are excited to share the NC football brand of up tempo offense and swarming defense. This is an opportunity for your child to get coached by the varsity coaches and players while enjoying a challenging and positive camp experience. They will receive instruction in every position on the field, and participate in games to further develop their skills as a player.

The 2026 NC Ram Football Camp will be a fun filled environment for all to enjoy – we hope to see your children there!

Dates: June 22-24th

Times: Rising 3rd-5th Grade 8:30-10:00AM

Rising 6th-8th Grade 10:00-11:30AM

Location: Water Tower Turf Field 1

Cost: $250

No equipment is needed for this camp. Wear cleats and bring a well labeled water bottle.

2026 NCYF Modified Tackle Football 3rd Grade

Register here if you have a player in New Canaan who will be in 3rd grade for the fall of 2026 that would like to play Modified Tackle Football (MTF). Modified Flag Football is also known as Modified Tackle Football (MTF).

This program is for 3rd graders only.

MTF is a 9-player (vs. 11 player), no-tackle version of football played on a smaller field. Players wear full equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, and football pants) but use flag belts—tackles are made by pulling flags, not by physical contact/NO TACKLING.

While there’s no tackling, MTF introduces pads, blocking techniques, ball handling, and other essential football skills in a safe, developmental environment. It helps players prepare for tackle football if they choose to take that step.

2026 NCYF Tackle Football Grades 4-8th

Register here if you have a TACKLE player in New Canaan who will be in 4th grade through 8th grade for the fall of 2026.

Register for the grade your child will be in for the 2026-2027 school year. Please do not register if you live outside of New Canaan. If you reside in a surrounding town, please register for football with that town.

Important Dates:

August 17th-28th Mandatory Pre-season

August 29/30th FCFL Jamboree

September 5th Regular Season Games

The registration fee includes the new costs associated with field rentals, athletic trainers, referees, uniforms /equipment and fields fees.
